Raymond William Gutierrez, Sr. - "Ray" 
Aug. 23, 1937 - Dec. 27, 2004



Mr. Raymond William Gutierrez, Sr., 67, of Stockton, passed way on Dec. 27, 
2004 at a Stockton hospital, after an illness, He was born on August 23, 1937 
in French Camp, California, the son of Rufino George Gutierrez and Ignacia 
Annie Martinez Gutierrez. He grew in Stockton, where he attended local schools, 
and later moved to Santa Rosa, where he was a long time resident, before 
returning to Stockton a few years ago. Mr. Gutierrez was a retired carpenter 
and enjoyed horse trading and restoring classic cars. He was an avid fan of 
Jazz and R&B music, enjoying the music of Dean Martin, Ray Charles, and B.B. 
King.
He is survived by five sons: Ray Gutierrez, Jr., Danny Gutierrez and Ronnie 
(Janice Gutierrez of Santa Rosa, Tony (Shelley) Gutierrez of Stockton, and 
George (J.J.) Gutierrez of Galt; four sisters; Margaret Constancio, Frances 
Schornhorst, Cora Gutierrez and Marlene Pacheco; and two brothers, Johnny and 
Sammy Gutierrez. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 grandchildren. He was 
preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Gutierrez.
Friends are invited to attend visitations from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, 
January 3rd, 2005 at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. California 
Street in Stockton. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on 
Tuesday, January 4th at the Mortuary, followed by a Graveside Committal Service 
at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, Harding Way and Cemetery Lane in Stockton. 
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
