Daniel Lee Marchand 

Aug. 17, 1948 - Dec. 14, 2004



Daniel Lee Marchand, at the age of 56, peacefully entered into rest on Tuesday, 
December 14, 2004 in Palm Springs with his loving family at his side. 
Devoted and loving father of Jennifer Marchand; brother of 11 children, Barbara 
McQueen, Connie, Christine Smalley, Kevin, Mary Owens, Paul, Steve, Tim, 
Virginia Wilson, and the late Hugh Marchand; loving son of Margaret Marchand 
and the late Harold Marchand. He is missed dearly by his closest friends Eric 
Spohn, John Baker, Joyce Brumbles, Myra Block, Scot Webster and his loving pet, 
Sanger. Born August 17, 1948 in Stockton, CA, Daniel was a long time employee 
of Chevron Texaco. He spent most of his life in San Francisco, and retired in 
sunny and warm Palm Springs, CA in 2002. 
The family would like to thank the entire staff at the California Pacific 
Medical Center (Davis Campus) for their wonderful care. They not only took care 
of Daniel, they were emotionally supportive to his friends and family. 
His ashes will be spread on a majestic hilltop overlooking his home, his 
beautiful garden and all of Palm Springs. 
A Celebration of Daniel's life will be held at a private memorial. 
For those wishing to honor his memory, the family suggests donations be made to

CA 94160.
