Richard Salazar Padilla, 65, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2005. Born 
July 15, 1939 in Union City, CA. 
Richard was the beloved husband of 47 years to Olivia Padilla of Lathrop. 
Loving father of Kitty L. Pimentel, Richard Padilla, Jr., Kimberly Stipe, Kelly 
Sorrick, Rob Padilla and Kristy Padilla; father-in-law of Raphael Pimentel, 
Tony Stipe, Roger Sorrick, Stella Padilla and Hector Barraza. Cherished 
grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dear brother of 
Frank Padilla, Vera Rivera, Virginia Medina, Jesse Olivas, Emily Johnson and 
Margaret Deanda. Richard worked for San Joaquin General Hospital from which he 
retired after 36 years of service. 
Friends and family are invited to attend a recitation of the Rosary at St. 
Anthony's Catholic Church, 525 E. North St., Manteca, CA on Thursday, January 
6, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. 
Anthony's Church on Friday, January 7, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. No visitation. 
Committal: San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery. 
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 207 E. 
Alpine Ave, Stockton, CA 95204 or American Diabetes Association/San Joaquin 
Chapter, 1524 McHenry Ave., Suite 210, Modesto, CA 95250-4568.
