Angie Martinez 
Nov. 20, 1929 - December 30, 2004



Angie Martinez, 75, born November 20, 1929 in Denver, CO, was raised in 
Stockton, CA and entered into rest in Sunnyvale, CA on Thursday, December 30, 
2004. The daughter of Celestino Jaquez and Tonita Archuleta from Blanco, New 
Mexico, she was the youngest and last surviving of 12 siblings. She moved to 
San Jose in 1947, met her husband, Thomas Harry Martinez , and was married in 
1949. They moved to Cupertino in 1954 where they raised their six children, 
Tom, Dennis, Gail, Doreen, Dean and Chris (Kit). Angie was active in the 
community, including St. Joseph's of Cupertino Parish, Resurrection Parish, Boy 
Scout Troops 476 and 466, San Jose Seahawks Rugby, American Legion Monte Vista 
Post and the 40's Women's Club in Stockton.
Angie is preceded in death by her husband, Tom and her son, Dennis. She is 
survived by her other children and her beloved grandchildren: Lia, Paul, 
Jennifer, Kris, Margot, Richard, Alyssa, Sean, Natalie, Toni, Timothy and one 
on the way.
Friends and family are invited to attend Vigil Services at 7:00 p.m. on 
Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at Lima Family Erickson Mortuary, 710 Willow Street, 
San Jose. Funeral services begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 5 at the 
Mortuary, followed by an 11:00 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph's of Cupertino (Stevens 
Creek Blvd. and De Anza Blvd.). Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 
in Los Altos.
The family requests any donations be sent to American Diabetes Association.
