Clark April 28, 1929 — April 15, 2004 Funeral services will be Monday in Manteca for retired Southern Pacific Railroad conductor Lloyd O. Clark, 74, who died Thursday at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Manteca. Born in Pitcher, Okla., Mr. Clark lived in Manteca 60 years. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served during World War II. He worked as a Southern Pacific conductor in Tracy 42 years, after which he retired. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father and a special grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary J. Clark of Manteca; two sons, Lloyd D. Clark, and his wife, Paula, of Manteca, and Daniel J. Clark of Citrus Heights; a daughter, Judith A. King of Sacramento; a brother, Robert C. Clark of Farmington; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five siblings, Donald L., Jack, Etta Anne and Layton Clark and Shirley Dio. Monday’s services will begin at 10 a.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, in Manteca, where visitation will be observed the same day from 8 to 10 a.m. Interment will be at Park View Cemetery, 3661 E.
