M. Ying-Wah Cheung 
Sept. 18, 1941 - Dec. 31, 2004



Merle Ying-Wah Cheung, 63, passed away Friday, December 31, 2004 in Stockton. 
Merle was a strong woman beloved by her family and friends as well as many in 
her community. She was an avid fan of classical music and active choir member 
in the St. John's Episcopal Church. She was born on September 18, 1941 in Hong 
Kong. Merle is survived by her beloved husband Pak Kwing Cheung, daughter Pansy 
Cheung of Stockton and Ian Cheung of Oakland. She also is survived by her 
siblings Jacob Wong of Hong Kong, Vicky Wong of Sacramento, Jane Wong of 
Stockton, Ruby Choi of Sacramento, Ivy Ho of Boston and Reanne Wu of Taiwan. We 
love you and miss you very much. Your Family.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service at St. John's 
Episcopal Church, 316 N. El Dorado St., Stockton on Saturday, January 8, 2005 
at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 
Shoreline Dr., Stockton on Thursday and Friday, January 6 and 7, 10:00 a.m. - 
7:00 p.m. Committal: Lodi Memorial Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to St. John's Episcopal 
Church, 316 N. El Dorado St., Stockton, CA 95202.
