Edna Emaline Kamplain Richardson 
November 9, 1917 - January 3, 2005



Emmy, 87, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2005. She was born on November 9, 
1917 in Wetumka, Oklahoma. Emmy was the fourth in line of a close knit family 
of ten children. She was born to Lela Black and John Lafayette Kamplain. She 
married the late Chancell Richardson on August 22, 1935, with four children 
born to that union, William Dale, Kenneth David and wife Iva, Cheryl Frances, 
Nancy Kay and companion Ruben Hernandez. She was preceded in death by siblings, 
Derrel and Edna Kamplain, Frances Neese, Freda and Mac McCroskey, Neal Kamplain 
and sister-in-law, Betty Kamplain and grandson, Michael Richardson. 
She is survived by siblings and their spouses, Maxine Sanders, Louise and Sam 
Loduca, John Kamplain, Jeane and Robert Ross; beloved grandchildren, Janis, 
Kenneth II, Carrie and Jennifer Richardson, Ron and Marcella Cunningham, Teri 
Cunningham and fiance Darron Treude, Michael Allott and great-grandchildren, 
Nicole, Amanda, Chancell and Alex; also survived by her many nieces and nephews 
who were so much a part of her family circle. She was loved dearly and will be 
missed by all. She had said she was "richly" blessed, but it was all of us who 
were so "richly" blessed by being her family. 
A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at 
Rocha's Mortuary, 215 S. School St., Lodi, CA.
Memorial donations may be made in Emmy's honor to the Hospice of San Joaquin or 
the American Cancer Society.
