Ethel Jane Hedstrom 
March 30, 1924 - January 3, 2005



Ethel Jane Hedstrom went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on 
Monday, January 3, 2005 at the age of 80. She was born in Stockton, CA on March 
30, 1924 and lived in French Camp, CA for the last 59 years where she was a 
full-time homemaker, wife and mother.
Ethel Jane was an avid correspondent, well known for remembering the birthdays 
and anniversaries of her many friends and family. She also loved photography 
and enjoyed taking photos at every opportunity. Until recently she was an 
active member of Stockton Covenant Church, where she taught Sunday School to 4 
year olds for over 40 years. Ethel Jane also had a special place in her heart 
for Christian missionaries and supported several with letters and gifts.
She is survived by Carl Warren Hedstrom, her beloved husband of 59 years; four 
children including Carl Hedstrom II of Madera, CA, Nancy Kroon of Modesto, CA, 
Ann Rosander of Manteca, CA, Erik Hedstrom of Valley Springs, CA; and one 
sister, Margaret Bosley of Roseville, CA. In addition, she leaves a legacy of 
fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death 
by one son, Arthur Hedstrom of Oregon.
Friends and family are invited to a Graveside Service at 3:00 p.m. on 
Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at Park View Cemetery, French Camp Road at Highway 
99. All arrangements are under the direction of P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 
290 N. Union Rd., Manteca, CA 95336.
