She was born Carol Frances McClintock on Oct. 21, 1921, in San Francisco. Mrs. Sperry lived in Lodi since 1960, and worked as a teacher at Lodi Unified School District for 25 years. She was a member and former president of the Lodi Women's Club, and was also a member of the Navy Officers Wives Club of Stockton. She was an accomplished piano player. She is survived by her son, Brooks Sperry, of Lodi; sister, Nancy Zeus, of Oakland; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Willard Sperry; and sister, Betty McClintock. A private graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland.
