Camilla Goodman
Camilla L. Goodman, 80, of Sacramento and formerly of Lodi, died Jan. 11 in 
Sacramento. She was born Sept. 28, 1924, in Ft. Smith, Ark.

Mrs. Goodman moved to California in 1937 and settled in Lodi, where she 
attended Lodi High School. She moved to Escalon, then to Elk Grove in 1954, 
before settling in Sacramento in 1962.



Camilla Goodman 
She worked as a supervisor for the State of California Teachers Retirement 
System for 18 years until her retirement in 1986. Following her retirement, she 
worked part-time as a retired annuitant for the State Board of Equalization.

She is survived by her husband, Charles A. Goodman, of Sacramento; daughters, 
Janice Nunes, of Elk Grove, and JoAnn Hill, of Sacramento; sisters, Mildred 
Orr, Norma Dismukes and Barbara Bystrom, all of Modesto; brothers, John and 
Fred Kee, of Modesto; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Sue Kee; brother, Bill Kee; and 
granddaughter, JoAnn Nunes.

A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee 
Memorial Park, Highway 99 and Harney Lane, Lodi. Burial will follow. Visitation 
will be held from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 
831 Industrial Way, Lodi.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
