Stockton
Jesse W. Ferris 
August 27, 1912 - January 7, 2005

Mr. Ferris was born in New York city and moved to California in 1934. He lived 
in Stockton since 1956 with Helen, his wife of 70 years. Jesse was a longtime 
member of the Stockton Country Club, and traveled extensively throughout the 
world with Helen. Mr. Ferris was the manager of the Metropolitan Life Insurance 
office in Stockton from 1956 until his retirement in 1974. He had a 36 year 
career with the company. He was also active in Kiwanis and other civic 
organizations. 
He leaves behind his devoted wife Helen, and his 2 loving sons, Richard of 
Chicago, IL and Keith of Danville, CA. He will be missed by his daughters-in-
law; 6 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. 
A private Memorial will be held at a later date. 
Donations in his name may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin County.
