Christina Peckler 
Aug. 12, 1918 - Dec. 23, 2004

Christina Peckler, 86, born in Coventry, England on August 12, 1918. Preceded 
in death by her husband, Edward J. Peckler, who she met while he was serving in 
the U.S. Army in England. She arrived in Stockton with the first group of war 
brides in 1946 and married Edward. Chris passed away peacefully in her home in 
Stockton on December 23, at 86 years of age. Chris obtained her Masters Degree 
from the University of Pacific in English graduating Phi Kappa Phi. She taught 
speech and english at San Joaquin Delta College from 1963 to 1990.
She is survived by her two sons, Steve and Don Peckler; five grandchildren and 
two great-grand children and a niece in Fort Bragg.
Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Reception to be held on January 
13, 2005 at Noon at her home at 7325 Oak Creek Drive, Stockton, CA 95207. No 
visitation, Private committal.
