Richard Lerma IV 
Nov. 18, 1984 - Jan. 10, 2005



Mr. Richard Lerma IV of Lodi, passed away unexpectedly Monday Janu- ary 10, 
2005 in a Lodi hospital at the age of 20. 
He attended and graduated from Tokay High School Class of 2002. He played in 
Lodi sports including, soccer, football, and baseball. He was an avid Oakland 
Raider's football fan and enjoyed listening to music, drawing, sketching and 
spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his parents, Richard III and Lydia Lerma of Lodi; 3 brothers, 
Raymond, Rico and Robert Lerma of Lodi; 1 sister, Veronica Lerma of Lodi; 
grandparents, Rudy and Esther Sauseda of Lodi; Richard and Rose Lerma of 
Mokelumne Hill; great grandmothers, Agnes Freitas of San Leandro; Concha 
Sauseda of Acampo; many aunts and uncles and numerous cousins. He was preceded 
in death by a brother Danny Lerma in 1987.
A Church service will be held Friday January 14, 2005, 1:00 p.m. at the 
Westside Assembly of God Church, followed by interment at the Cherokee Memorial 
Park Cemetery. A Vigil service will be held Thursday, 6:30 p.m. at the Lodi 
Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday, from 12:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the 
Lodi Funeral Home.
