Cathy J. Gunderson, 55 of Lodi, died suddenly on Tuesday, January 11, 2005. 
She was born in Stockton on May 21, 1949. Cathy graduated from Lincoln High 
School class of 1967 and attended Delta College. She worked for the State of 
California Youth Authority as a Health & Safety Officer, retiring after 33 
years of service in 2004. Cathy enjoyed playing the piano and oil painting. She 
loved animals, especially rescuing Miniature Schnauzers. 
Her survivors include 1 sister and brother-in-law, Michele & Carl Manitta of 
Roseville, CA; 1 brother and sister-in-law, Donald & Arlene Potter of Stockton; 
2 nephews, Michael Manitta and Chris Wiler; 1 niece, Christine Manitta and dear 
friend, Nadine Farley.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 17, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the 
Evergreen Chapel of Cherokee Memorial Park followed by burial. There will be no 
visitation. Cherokee Memorial Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Stockton, CA 95201.
