Dolores Little
Dolores E. Little, 71, of Lodi, died Jan. 12 at her residence. She was born 
Dolores E. Walz on June 24, 1933, in Ashley, N.D.

Mrs. Little attended Needham School and Lodi High School. She worked at the 
Lodi Home Bakery and then was a partner for Galt Bakery. She also worked as a 
dental assistant and bookkeeper for 10 years for Dr. Arliss Sutherland.



Dolores Little 
She traveled extensively throughout Europe for her 50th wedding anniversary and 
while her son was in the service stationed in Germany. She was an avid reader, 
particularly of biographies. She was a needlework artist, and made hundreds of 
knitted, crocheted and needlepoint gifts for family and friends. She enjoyed 
all animals, and had many pets which included her current sheltie dogs.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald E. Little Sr., of Lodi; son, 
Donald E. Little Jr., of Mesa, Ariz.; daughter, Sandra Lagorio, of Stockton; 
sisters, Darlou Yarborough and Patricia Stair, both of Lodi; mother, Rose 
Baumbach, of Lodi; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Karen Little; and brother 
Duane Walz.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Evergreen Chapel at 
Cherokee Memorial Park. Inurnment will be private in Lodi.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific 
Ave., Stockton, CA 95204.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
