Frank Garcia
Frank Garcia Sr., 101, of Galt, died Jan. 15 at a local hospital. He was born 
Nov. 3, 1903, in Hanford.

Mr. Garcia was a resident of Galt for 36 years. He worked in construction in 
Oakland and San Leandro until his retirement in 1969. He was a member of the 
Union Local No. 169.

He is survived by his sons, Frank Garcia Jr., of Lodi, and Richard Garcia, of 
Cameron Park; daughter, Dorthy Ferguson, of Mississippi; six grandchildren and 
six great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Christopher's 
Catholic Church in Galt with Father Jerry Ryle officiating. Committal will 
follow at the Galt Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. today at Ben 
Salas Funeral Home.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
