Spence Trew
Spence Trew, 77, of Lodi, died Jan. 21 in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 
23, 1967, in Cleveland, Tenn.

Mr. Trew served in the U.S. Army from 1946-47. He lived in Lodi for 36 years 
and in Tracy for 20 years. He worked for Southern Pacific Railroad as a 
conductor for 35 years until his retirement. He was a member of Lodi Avenue 
Baptist Church, and also the Blue Lodge Masons of Woodbridge.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Trew, of Lodi; son, Stephen M. Trew, of Lodi; 
daughter, Melody Mosqueda, of Galt; sister, Doris Craig, of San Diego; and five 
grandchildren.

A church service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lodi Avenue Baptist 
Church, 2301 W. Lodi Ave., with Pastor Michael Abdollahzadeh officiating. 
Committal will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 
10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Rocha's Mortuary, 215 S. School Street.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lodi Avenue Baptist Church, 2301 W. Lodi 
Ave., Lodi, CA 95242.

Rocha's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
