April 5, 1913 - January 14, 2005



Janet Laurel, 91, of Stockton, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2005 in a 
local convalescent care facility.
Born on April 5, 1913 in Biwabik, MN. She was a telephone operator for 30 years 
with Pacific Bell. A member of Ocean View OES in Mendocino, a 50 plus year 
member of Stockton Chapter #373 OES, honorary member of the Stockton Host Lions 
Club and the Telephone Pioneers. She was preceded in death by her husband 
Leonard Laurel. 
Friends are invited to attend Eastern Star services on Wednesday (today), 
January 19, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial 
Park. Stockton Chapter #373 OES officiating. Max Carroll at Cherokee Memorial 
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Private committal in Cherokee Memorial 
Park.
