Mr. Kroll was born in Colfax, Washington on November 19, 1934. Mr. Kroll worked for IBM for 31 years as a Customer Service Representative prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Central United Methodist Church and active in the Elks Lodge #218 and the Moose Lodge # 391 and served in the U.S. Navy. Known to his family as a 'Gadgeteer', Mr. Kroll enjoyed traveling, tremendously appreciated the outdoors, as well as astronomy and gardening. Among his pastimes he enjoyed salmon fishing on the Klamath River and picking abalone at Salt Point. He was the founder and CSO of the Simple Stool Company, WMT. Mr. Kroll is survived by his wife of 48 years, Maureen and children, David Kroll and wife Susan, Julie Morehouse and husband Jack, Jeff Kroll and wife Susan and Ann Wendland; nine grandchildren; a brother Virgil Kroll and his wife, Anita, and a brother-in-law Mike Quinn and his wife Anne, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service, Saturday, January 22, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at the Central United Methodist Church, 3700 Pacific Avenue at Fulton, Stockton, CA.
