Olla Mae Costa 
Feb. 25, 1924 - Jan. 18, 2005



Mrs. Olla Mae Costa of Linden passed away Tuesday January 18, 2005 in a 
Stockton hospital at the age of 81. Mrs. Costa was born February 25, 1924 in 
Little Rock, Arkansas to John and Nettie Freeman. Mrs. Costa worked for the 
Linden Unified School District as a Bus Driver for 20 years before retiring in 
1990. She attended Holy Cross Catholic Church and was a member of the 7 
Stitches Embroidery Club of Linden. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, dancing, 
traveling and sewing. Mrs. Costa was very active with and enjoyed attending her 
grandchildren's sporting events. She will best remembered as a loving wife, 
mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by 1 
daughter, Yvonne Giannini and husband Bob of Linden; 2 brothers, John Freeman 
of Oregon; Luther Freeman of Lodi; 1 grandson, Nicholas Giannini of Linden and 
1 granddaughter, Gina Giannini of Linden. She was preceded in death by her 
husband John Pete Costa in 1988, 2 brothers, Tommy Freeman and Ardean Williams.
A Chapel service will be held Monday, January 24, 2005, 10:00 a.m. at the Lodi 
Funeral Home, followed by interment at the Linden Cemetery. Visitation will be 
held Sunday, 12:00-8:00 p.m. at the Lodi Funeral Home.
