He was born Sept. 12, 1927 in Windom, Minn. Mr. Gunn served in the U.S. Navy, and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was employed by Doug Winn Trucking in Lockeford for 10 years, Les Caulkins Trucking in Lodi for ten years, and Kings County Trucking in Modesto for 14 years. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, American Legion Post 22 of Lodi and Italia Americano 200 Club of Lodi. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rose Marie Gunn, of Lodi; son, Anthony F. Gunn, of Lodi; daughter, Gloria T. Williams, of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rosie Purdy, in 2003. A church service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. at the Lodi Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1212 W. Robinhood Drive, Ste. 5-D, Stockton, CA 95207; or to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
