Maria Dela Pena Aberin 
Feb. 7, 1907 - January 23, 2005



Maria Dela Pena Aberin, 97 years old, passed away peacefully on January 23, 
2005 at Hampton Health Care Center, Stockton, CA. She was born in Bangar, La 
Union, Philippines on February 7, 1907 and was the third child of the four 
children of Mariano and Florencia Dela Pena. She came to the U.S.A in 1970 to 
live with daughter, Luz A. Villanueva (deceased) in Fairfield, CA before she 
moved to Stockton in 1973. 
She was blessed with four daughters of (deceased) husband, WWII USAFFE veteran, 
Rev. Col. Isidoro Baladad Aberin (Evangelical Pastor in the Philippines): Luz 
A. Villanueva (deceased), Febe Aberin-Caro of Reno, Nevada, Adoracion Aberin-
Poladi (deceased), Marilou P. Aberin of Stockton, CA and three deceased sons, 
Usafino, Isidoro Jr. and Victorio. She was a homemaker and the best 
grandmother. She will be missed and remembered by her 11 grandchildren and 13 
great-grandchildren: Edward and Nel Patacsil with son, Jason; Cathy and Rick De 
Guzman with children, Wesley and Andrew, both families from Antioch, CA; Tess 
Caro and children, Mikhaela and KeAlani Sarmiento of Stockton; Benjamin Noel 
Caro, Jr. (deceased) and son Benjamin Noel Caro II; Ronald Allan and Julie Caro 
and children, Jasselle, Rahj, Jainah, both families from the Philippines; Anna 
and Mike Tobin and children, Isabelle Tobin and Allan Jovan Pena of Ohio; Irma 
and Bill Preiss and children, Benjamin and Gabriel of Colorado; Marie 
Villanueva of Stockton, CA; Cecil Villanueva of Long Beach, CA; Imran Hassan 
and Danielle Poladi of Lodi, CA; Sofia and Emile Crawford of San Jose, CA. 
Great-grandchildren: Kelly and Mike Allen, Christopher, Adrienne and Jerry and 
children, Andre and Jordynn; son-in-law, Benjamin E. Caro Sr. of Stockton, CA, 
relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in 
the Chapel of the Palms Funeral Home, 303 S. Califonria St., Stockton, CA. 
Visitation will be Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Chapel. Committal 
will be private.
