Erma J. Palmer 
July 25, 1948 - January 24, 2005



Erma J. Palmer passed away at her home in Lodi on January 24, 2005. She was 56 
years old. She was born on July 25, 1948. She lived in Stockton and Lodi for 54 
years. Erma was a kitchen manager for the San Joaquin County Jail. In Erma's 
free time she loved to do gardening and spending time with her family. 
Donation's in Erma's memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 207 E. 
Alpine Ave., Stockton, CA 95204 or Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave., 
Stockton, CA 95204.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Palmer of Lodi. Her children, 
Rodney Palmer of Lodi, Robert Palmer of Stockton and Cindy Taylor of Galt. Also 
surviving are her siblings Joseph Holcomb, Stanley Looney and Donald Looney all 
of Stockton and 5 grandchildren. There will be a Funeral service on Thursday, 
January 27, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. The service will be held at the Evergreen 
Chapel, Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 and East Harney Lane, Lodi. There will 
be a visitation on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The 
visitation will take place at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial 
Way, Lodi, CA. Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
