Wayland March Newson 
March 5, 1931 - January 23, 2005

Wayland March Newson, 73, of Stockton, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2005. 
He was born on March 5, 1931 in Phoenix, AZ. He was a Building Inspector for 
San Joaquin Co. and a US Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Doris Newson; his children, Wayland Leslie 
New-son, Rodney Newson, Natalie Newson Williams and Gwendolyn Newson Dunham, 
all of Stockton. Loving grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 2. Also 
survived by sisters, Clara Young of Fairfield, CA, ArtieMae Williams of 
Sacramento, CA, Chloe Wilbon of Fresno, CA, Gaynell Givens and Marcell Bowden 
and brothers, Angus Newson and Steve New-son, all of Stockton, CA.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2005, 11:00 a.m. at 
Mount Mariah Missionary Baptist Church, 2209 Pock Lane, Stockton, CA. 
Arrangements by Nautilus Society.
