Joyce Kikuye Stonehocker 
Dec. 27, 1933 - January 25, 2005



Joyce Kikuye Stonehocker passed away at a hospital in Stockton on Tuesday, 
January 25, 2005. She was 71 years old. She was born in Sacramento, CA on 
December 27, 1933. She lived in Manteca for 49 years, and she worked for The 
Wine Group as the director of human resources for 42 years. Joyce was a very 
dedicated wife to her husband, children, grandchildren and also to her work. 
She loved reading and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and 
spoiled them quite often. Joyce will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew 
her.
Joyce is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Jack R. Stonehocker of 
Manteca; her children, Curtis Stonehocker of Lemoore, CA, Craig Stonehocker of 
Tualatin, Oregon and Jacqueline Breitenbucher of Manteca; 1 sister, Carole 
Aslin of Bainbridge Island, Washington; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-
granddaughter. 
There will be a private memorial service on Saturday for family only. On 
Sunday, January 30, 2005 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., there will be a 
celebration of Joyce's life for all family and friends to attend. The 
celebration will be held at the Manteca Golf Course-Chez Shari, 305 N. Union 
Road, Manteca. Private inurnment will be at Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi, CA. 
Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, Lodi, in charge of arrangements.
Per the family's request, donations in Joyce's memory may be sent to the 
American Cancer Society, 207 E. Alpine Ave., Stockton, CA 95204.
