Estela Hidalgo Ruiz 
June 25, 1935 - January 25, 2005



Estela Hidalgo Ruiz, 69, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2005, with family at 
her side at her home in Stockton. A native of Del Rio, Texas, she was born on 
June 25, 1935 to Alejandro & Manuela Hidalgo. She retired after 30 years as a 
payroll accountant for the State of California. 
Ms. Ruiz is survived by a son, Richard Ruiz of Oregon and preceded in death by 
son, Rey Ruiz. She is also survived by grandchildren, Michael, and his wife, 
Valerie, Rachael, Ryan and Neil; great grandchildren, Jesus, Anna, Daniela, 
Victoria and Michael, Jr.; sisters, Martha Hidalgo Valdez and husband, Larry 
Valdez and Olivia Orozco; a brother, Zaragoza Hidalgo and wife, Esparanza 
Hidalgo and preceded in death by brother, Louie Hidalgo. Beloved aunt of 
numerous nieces and nephews. 
Friends are invited to attend visitation Monday, from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 
p.m., Monday, January 31, 2005. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 
Monday, January 31, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 
N. California Street, Stockton, CA 
Committal will be Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Stockton Rural 
Cemetery, Stockton, CA.
Memorial contributions may be expressed to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific 
Avenue, Stockton, CA 95204.
