Opal Lee Huff 
No. 3, 1919 - January 26, 2005



Mrs. Opal L. Huff, 85, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at her 
residence in Stockton. Opal was born on November 3, 1919 in Purcell, Oklahoma, 
and she has lived in Stockton for the past 60 years. Opal enjoyed spending time 
with her family, and on several occasions she was able to travel back to 
Oklahoma and Arkansas where she could visit with some of her relatives. She 
enjoyed gardening, quilting and canning jams and jellies and then sharing them 
with her neighbors. She especially enjoyed the holiday dinners at her house.
Opal is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Hiram; her daughter, 
DeLores Jean Potter; 2 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her children, 
Billy W. Huff and wife, Carolyn and Jackie D. Huff and wife, Carol; 8 
grandchildren, Lisa, Michael, Sherene, Stephen, Stephanie, Ronnie, Shannon and 
Kevin and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2005, 10:00 a.m-5:00 p.m. at 
Wallace-Martin Funeral Home, located at 520 N. Sutter Street in Stockton, and a 
service will be held on Sunday, January 30 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A 
private committal will take place at Farmington Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
