Eugene Thomas Davis 
April 8, 1918 - January 28, 2005



Eugene Thomas Davis, 86, was born April 8, 1918 in Ellendale, N.D. and passed 
away January 28, 2005 in Stockton, CA. Before retirement, he worked as an 
insulation and weather stripping installation specialist for 27 years with 
Valley insulation. During WWII, he served his country honorably where he was 
awarded the Purple heart for injuries sustained during combat, and was captured 
and held as a prisoner of war. He belonged to the Carpenters union, and Moose 
lodge Post #634. His wife, Frances Davis and a son, Thomas Davis precede him in 
death. 
He was the beloved father of Donna Kimbrell and Patricia Speegle of Stockton 
and Michael Davis of Lodi; cherished grandfather of 8 grandchildren. Dear 
brother of Vernon Davis of Stockton, Dale Davis of North Dakota, Warren Davis 
of South Dakota and Al Davis of Washington and the late, Donald Davis, Elsie 
Juencke, Pearl Harrison, Cora Wahl and Charlie Davis. 
Friends and family are invited to attend funeral services on Tuesday, February 
1, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California Street 
in Stockton. Visitation: Sunday from Noon to 5:00 p.m. and Monday, from 10:00 
a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Mortuary. Committal: San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, 
Stockton. 
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1524 
McHenry Ave., Suite 210, Modesto, CA 95250-4568.
