Louis was born in Williams, Arizona on November 21, 1944 to Malcolm and Sara Equinoa. In the 1950's the family moved to Stockton, California where Louis completed grammar school, attended Stagg High School and Delta College. Louis studied Tae Kwon Do with his brother, Malcolm in San Francisco, where he became a black belt and was destined to have a great future in the martial arts. He was very caring and had a great sense of humor often changing characters in his nieces and nephews bedtime stories to make them more colorful. He was a loving son and brother. Louis is survived by his mother, Sara; two sisters, Theresa Caynor and Cecilia Irons; nieces, Lisa Welch and her daughters, Stacy and Sarah McFadden; nephews, Kevin and Ennis Caynor in Washington State, Rick Caynor of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; niece, Alexis Equinoa, and nephews, Malcolm Equinoa, Mark Equinoa and Dennis Equinoa in California. Louis was preceded in death by baby sister, Mary Equinoa, father, Malcolm Equinoa and brother, Constantine Malcolm "Sonny" Equinoa. There will be no services locally as there will be cremation and burial in Arizona. Arrangements under the direction of, Richard Pierce Funeral Service, Napa, California. There will be a Book of Memories created for the family. Friends and relatives are asked to send your memories, or anecdotes regarding Louis to Cecilia Irons, 70 Emery Road, Port Angeles, WA 98362.
