Matthew Mutschler


Matthew "Sid" Mutschler, 63, of Lodi, died June 30 in Stockton. He was born 
Oct. 26, 1940, in Eureka, S.D.

Mr. Mutschler graduated from Lodi High School and attended Delta College. He 
owned and operated TreeHouse Nursery, Inc. in Victor for 17 years, and worked 
for Lockhart Seed of Stockton until his retirement. He was a member of "The 
Avenue Grill Coffee Club" and Big Valley Seniors Softball. He enjoyed spending 
time with his two grandsons, golfing and watching movies. He was also a Dodgers 
fan and enjoyed history.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Mutschler, of Lodi; daughters, Staci 
Woltkamp, of Lodi, and Terra Kaufman, of Stockton; stepsons, Lance Arnold, of 
Sacramento, and Scott Arnold, of Lodi; sisters, Barbara Pruden, of Lodi, and 
Rochelle Wheeler, of Sante; brother, Blake Mutschler, of Lodi; and two 
grandsons.

A chapel service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel at the Lodi 
Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday 
at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 207 E. 
Alpine Ave., Stockton, CA 95204.
