Eva E. Martin 
Dec. 27, 1930 - February 1, 2005



Eva E. Martin of Stockton, CA, age 74 years, passed away on Tuesday, February 
1, 2005. She was born on December 27, 1930 in Missouri. The family moved to 
Arkansas and then to Manteca, CA in the early 1940's. She was educated and 
reared in Manteca and was married to Harold R. Martin on May 2, 1948. They 
moved to Stockton in 1950. She was a member of the Mayfair Christian Church in 
Stockton, the Stockton Chapter of TOPPS and volunteered as a Pink Lady at 
Dameron Hospital for over 15 years. She enjoyed being a homemaker for her 
family of five boys and later, their families.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Martin of Stockton; 5 sons, Michael 
Martin of Marysville, WA, George, Fred and Frank Martin of Stockton and Joe 
Martin of Linden; brother, Glenn Johnson of Salinas; sister, Oleta Teague of 
Modesto; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death 
by a sister, Wanda Jimenez and a brother, Ralph Johnson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 4, 2005, 2:00 p.m. in the 
Chapel of Flowers at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 and Harney Lane in Lodi. 
Committal will be private. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 1:00-8:00 p.m. 
at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way near Beckman Road in 
Lodi.
