She passed away at her residence with her kids and best friend at her side on Sunday, January 30, 2005. She graduated from Stockton College where she was a song leader. Elvera worked for over 40 years in the Real Estate field. For 22 years she was a franchise owner of Century 21/Properties Unlimited Real Estate. She loved her career and the people in the industry. Elvera was outgoing and always adventurous during her life. She maintained close friendships for over 50 years. She loved her mother Lupe dearly and was always involved and took care of her. She was a member of the Asian Chamber of Commerce, Stockton Chamber of Commerce, Mexican Chamber of Commerce, San Joaquin Rental Association and Commercial Investment Network. She will be deeply missed because she made a difference in every life she touched. She was the loving mother of Kris Moore of Clements, Kelly Moore of Lodi and Kary Moore of Elk Grove. Cherished grandmother of Derek Moore, Dennis Moore, Dallas Moore, Lindsey Moore and Tyler Moore. Survived by mother Lupe Fontes. Dear sister of Richard Batres of Stockton, Sal Batres of Pelgram, TN and Jess Batres of Auburn and the late Irene Angoletta. Also survived by her cousins Barbara Glaisyer and Carl Alvarez. Friends and family are invited to attend a Vigil Service at the Cathedral of the Annunciation, Rose and Van Buren, Stockton on Thursday, February 3, 2005 at 5:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Annunciation on Friday, February 4, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. No visitation at her request.
