Melvin Miller 
April 21, 1922 - February 1, 2005



Mr. Melvin Miller, age 82, passed away on February 1, 2005 in Stockton. He was 
born April 21, 1922 in Linton, North Dakota. 
He is survived by his beloved wife, Lillian Miller and his loving children, 
Keith Miller (Jean) and Paula Islas (Mike). He is the adored grandfather of 
Morgan Dewalt. Mr. Miller is the dear brother of Calvin Miller, Emil Miller, 
Eleanor Maier and Wilma Weber, all of Lodi, Amanda Semenza of Stockton, Hilda 
Miller of Spokane, August Miller of Acampo, Delmar Miller of Galt, and the late 
Edwin Miller. Mr. Miller worked 32 years for the Stockton Unified School 
District in heating maintenance. He was a member of the Dakota Club, Lodi 
Trailer Club, and the Moose and Elks Lodges.
Family and friends are invited to a Graveside service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, 
February 7, 2005 at Cherokee Memorial Park, Harney Lane at Hwy 99, Lodi, CA. 
Visitation will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 
5:00 p.m. at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Drive, Stockton, CA 
95219. Committal: Cherokee Memorial Park. 
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin, 
3888 N. Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA 95207.
