Michael Hays 
Michael W. Hays, 40, of Lodi, died Feb. 4 in Lodi. He was born Oct. 17, 1964, 
in Yakima, Wash.

Mr. Hays moved to Lodi as a child with his family, where he attended schools 
and graduated from Tokay High School. He was self-employed as a cabinet maker, 
and enjoyed fishing and hunting. 

He is survived by his significant other, Deborah Fowler, of Lodi; mother, 
Alicia Bentz, of Lodi; grandmother, Alejandra Anderson, of Galt, and step-
grandmother, Beverly Bentz, of Lodi.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Hays in 1995.

There will be no visitation and committal will be private.
