Willie Lee Charles 
April 15, 1941 - February 5, 2005



Willie Lee Charles, 63, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2005, peacefully 
at home. He was born April 15, 1941 in Wilmington, North Carolina and was a 
Viet Nam Vet.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Charles; mother, Mary Charles and 
a daughter, Willina Charles. He leaves to cherish his precious and happy 
memories, his spiritual soul mate, Christina A. Charles; 8 children, Willie II 
and Anne of NY, Marie Thornton, Iona, Donald, Willie Albert, JaNay and Anthony 
Charles of Stockton; 4 siblings, Mary Johnson, Jessica, Amanda and Toney 
Charles of North Carolina; 4 grandchildren, Ramon and Ebonee Roots, Iyanah and 
Star Charles; 2 aunts, Jennie Cooper of NC and Mercedes Harvin of NJ; a host of 
nieces, nephews and special friends, Jacqueline, Lincoln, Billy, John, Clint 
and all the Scooter friends.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 10, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at 
Cherokee Memorial Park, Harney Lane at Hwy 99, Lodi with Rev. Jesse E. Cooley 
Jr. officiating. Viewing will be Wednesday, February 9, 12:00-5:00 p.m. at 
Jesse E. Cooley Jr. Funeral Service Chapel, 640 N. California St., Stockton.
