Valerie Jean Ferrin 
Dec. 21, 1949 - Feb. 4, 2005



Valerie Jean Ferrin, of Stockton, 55, died Friday, February 4, 2005. She was 
born on December 21, 1949 in Chico, California and grew up in San Mateo, Calif-
ornia. Following her graduation from Brigham Young University and Texas Women's 
University, Valerie worked as physical therapist in Eureka, California, Las 
Vegas, Nevada, Belmont, California, and Los Angeles, California before moving 
to Stockton where she worked at San Joaquin General Hospital. She taught 
physical therapy for several years at U.O.P. She is survived by her parents, 
Gordon E. and Kathleen Culy Ferrin of San Mateo; siblings, Anita Rodman of San 
Mateo, Eric Ferrin (Mary Ellen) of State College, Pennsylvania, and Sandra 
Strange (Jay) of Springville, Utah; and 13 nieces and nephews. A Memorial 
Service will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. at the El 
Dorado Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 7030 N. El Dorado, 
Stockton. Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
