Rosa Fontes 
Sept. 29, 1909 - February 5, 2005



Rosa Fontes, 95, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2005. A native of Portugal, 
she was born September 29, 1909. She was a member of Club Portuguese of 
Stockton, Luso American Fraternal Federation and SPRSI.
Preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Eurico Fontes. Loving mother of 
Lydia Costa of Lodi, Arlind Fontes of Thornton and Beatrice Fowler of Stockton. 
Dear mother-in-law of Albert Costa, Jean Fontes and Robert Fowler Sr. Special 
grandmother of Michael Costa, David Costa, Steven Fontes, Gregory Fontes, 
Jennifer Cashier, Robert Fowler Jr. and 8 great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday, February 9, 2005 
at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, 2544 Plymouth Road, Stockton, for a Mass 
of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. (church entrance on Country Club Blvd.). 
Rosary will be tonight, Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Palms 
Funeral Home, 303 S. Califonria St., Stockton. Visitation: Tuesday (today) from 
10:00 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. Committal will be at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
Contributions may be expressed to charity of your choice.
