Marvin Yarborough 
Marvin C. Yarborough, 72, of Hanford and formerly of Lodi, died Feb. 7 in his 
home. He was born June 17, 1932, in Melrose, N.M.

Mr. Yarborough moved to Lodi with his family, where graduated from Lodi High 
School. He owned and operated service stations in Jackson and Stockton for 
several years. He was later employed as a bookkeeper for the William Brandt 
accounting firm. Following his retirement, he was employed as a part-time 
bookkeeper for Jerry Campbell Chevron. He enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing 
with his sons. He also enjoyed hot rod cars and playing cards. 

He is survived by his sons, Michael Yarborough, of Palmdale, and Brian 
Yarborough, of Hanford; brothers, Gene Yarborough, of Acampo, Clois Yarborough, 
of Elk Grove, Ernie Yarborough, of Las Vegas, and David Yarborough, of Lodi; 
sister, Wanda Albers, of Lodi; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; and three brothers.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Evergreen Chapel at 
Cherokee Memorial Park. Inurnment will be private at Cherokee Memorial Park.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
