Ruth B. Hambrick 
Dec. 23, 1918 - Feb. 7, 2005



Ruth B. Hambrick, 86, of Stockton passed away at her home on Monday, February 
7, 2005. She was born December 23, 1918 in Casa, Arkansas. She moved to Stock-
ton from Vallejo in 1945 and was a charter member of Harmony Baptist Church and 
in the 1970's was a member of Trinity Baptist. As a loving mother and 
grandmother her focus was on her family throughout the years. Ruth retired from 
San Joaquin County in the mid 1970's after 20 plus years as a group counselor 
at Peterson Juvenile Hall. 
Ruth is survived by 1 son, Curtis H. Hambrick of Livingston, TX; 7 
grandchildren, 5 great-grand-children; 1 brother, Robert Duncan of Vallejo, CA. 
Her son Gregory in 1973, husband Curtis E. Hambrick in 1974, and her daughter 
Judith Crawford precedes her in death in 2004. 
Graveside memorial services will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2005, at 2:00 
p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park. Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of 
arrangements.
