Clay Crites
Sept. 24, 1954 — April 5, 2004

Clay Crites, 49, a lifelong Tracy resident, died Monday in Corcoran. No 
services are planned.
A native of Ceres, Mr. Crites lived in Tracy 48 years. He attended Tracy 
schools. 
Mr. Crites was a heavy equipment operator with various companies 25 years. He 
enjoyed fishing and working on old trucks.
Mr. Crites is survived by his mother, Dorothy Crites of Tracy; two daughters, 
Arian and Lonnie Crites, both of Tracy, a son, Clayton Crites of Tracy; a 
brother, Von Crites, and his wife, Patty, of Tracy; a sister, Suzanne Hewitt of 
Florida; a grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His father, Bunn Crites, preceded him in death.
Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., is handling arrangements.
