Charles R. Miller  
January 29, 1921 - February 8, 2005



Charles R. Miller, DDS, born January 29, 1921 in Reno, NV and passed away 
February 8, in Stockton, CA.
He is survived by Gerrie, his devoted wife of 61 years; three daughters, 
Kathleen (Greg) Pabst, Theresa (Pitt) Reese and Marie (Duke) Russell and two 
sons, Michael (Joyce) and Dan (Lisa) Miller; 10 loving grandchildren and one 
great-grandson, originally from the Bay Area, Charles and Gerrie retired to 
Murphy's, CA and have lived at O'Connor Woods in Stockton since 2001. Charles 
was a graduate Sacred Heart High School (1938), and College of Physicians & 
Surgeons (1945) in San Francisco. Throughout his adult life he was active in 
leadership positions in St. Vincent de Paul Societies in San Francisco, San 
Mateo and Calaveras counties. Charles practiced dentistry in San Francisco for 
more than 35 years.
A Celebration of Dr. Miller's life will be held at the Chapel at O'Connor 
Woods, 3400 Wagner Heights Boulevard, Stockton on February 18th at 11:00 a.m. 
The Miller family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be sent in 
Charles' memory to Class of 1938, Endowed Scholarship Fund at Sacred Heart 
Cathedral, 1055 Ellis Street, San Francisco, CA or St. Mary's Interfaith, P.O. 
Box 133, Stockton, CA 95201.
