Edy L. Staggs 
Dec. 18, 1944 - Feb. 9, 2005



Edy L. Staggs, 60, passed away February 9, 2005. Born in Monterey, CA, she 
spent most of her time living and working in Alameda County. The last 10 years 
were spent in Lathrop and Stockton where she died suddenly of heart failure in 
her home on Wednesday a.m. Her many passions were crafts, cooking, and shopping 
with her friends but above all else her family came first. 
She is survived by her mother, Yolie Sedlmayr; her daughter, Dawn Shephard; her 
grandchildren, Brittony Mehrley, and Brianna Shephard; also her brother, Bob 
Sedlmayr and sister and brother-in-law, Roz and Mark Britto, along with her 
nieces and nephew. 
No formal services will be held. A small gathering will take place at her home 
on a future date. Just please cherish your loved ones because they could 
literally be gone in a heartbeat.
