Ina Kreie 
Ina Mae Kreie, 81, of Lodi, died Feb. 10 in a local hospital.

She was born in Denten, Mont. on Oct. 30, 1923, and grew up in Billings Mont. 
Ina moved to Oakland in the early 1940s, where she worked in an aircraft 
defense plant throughout the war. She moved to Stockton in the early 1950s. 



Ina Kreie 
Ina was a member of the Lodi Moose Lodge, Ladies of the Moose, where she was 
very active with many responsibilities, including arranging several Christmas 
balls. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting.

She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Minnema, of Lodi, Connie Biebel, of 
Erie, Penn., and Iva Thornton, of Lodi; sister, Iva Lala, of Circle Montana; 10 
grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Kreie, and son, Jimmy Benson, Sr.

Inurnment will be private at Cherokee Memorial Park. Cherokee Memorial Funeral 
Home is in charge of the arrangements. Donations may be made in her name to the 
Lodi memorial Hospital Auxiliary, 725 S. Fairmont Ave., Lodi CA 95240.
