Wayne Mercer 
Wayne Raymond Mercer, 75, of Salome, Ariz. and formerly of Galt, died Feb. 7 in 
Salome, Ariz., following complications of heart failure. He was born July 6, 
1929, in Murray, Utah.

Mr. Mercer was a resident of Galt for 24 years. He was employed by B.M.D. as a 
salesman from 1952 until his retirement in 1991. 

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Mercer; sons, Leland Mercer, of Red Bluff, 
Dale Mercer, of Citrus Heights, and Gary Mercer, of Elk Grove; daughter, Linda 
Dyer, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Burnell; sister, Patricia; and two 
grandsons.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Ben Salas Funeral Home. Interment 
will be held at the Galt Cemetery.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
