Perry, 73, of Lodi, died Feb. 11 at a local convalescent hospital. She was born March 12, 1931, in Sacramento. Mrs. Perry resided in Nebraska before returning to Sacramento in 1952. She moved to Lodi in 1976, where she worked as a school bus driver for several years, and was also a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, growing roses, drawing and doing word search puzzles. She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Hester, of Modesto; son, Roy Gepford, of Lodi; sister, Violet Hoteling; brothers, Richard and Vernan Bowman; seven grandchildren, and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan G. Perry. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Carson Oaks Community Church, 6509 N. Alturas Ave., Stockton. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to Carson Oaks Community Church Building Fund, 6509 N. Alturas Ave., Stockton, CA 95207.
