Theresa M. Peluso (Pizzi) 
June 20, 1912 - February 12, 2005



Theresa M. Peluso, 92, passed away peacefully at home February 12, 2005. Born 
in Stockton, CA on June 20, 1912. In additional to raising her family, she was 
a seasonal cannery worker; assisted her husband at the family owned service 
station on Waterloo Rd. She was the founding member of the St. Gertrude's 
Mother's Club; was a member of the Waterloo Gun and Bocci Club, and the Italian 
Athletic Club. Her passions were Cooking and canning to the enjoyment of her 
family. She was an inspiration to all who witnessed her recovery from being 
attacked by two pit bull dogs, at the age of 87 years. When visited by family 
and friends her favorite line "I'm Still Here", will be sadly missed.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Anthony F. Peluso; her 
daughter, Kathy Elsholz; and her two sons, Ronald Peluso and Anthony Peluso, 
Jr. She is survived by her sons, Robert Peluso and Lawrence Peluso. She enjoyed 
her 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Rosary following a Mass of Christian 
Burial at St. Michael's Church, 5882 N. Ashley, on Thursday, February 17, 2005 
at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. 
California Street on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. 
Committal: San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
