Wilson Jan. 6, 1915 - Feb. 11, 2005 Darrell J. Wilson, 90 of Lodi, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2005 in a Lodi Care Home. He was born on January 6, 1915 to James and Ella Wilson in Lodi, CA and has been a life-long resident. Darrell served in the U.S. Navy and Army during WWII. He worked in the Electrical Department for the City of Lodi for 36 years. Darrell was a Boy Scout Leader for Troop #266, sponsored by the American Legion Post #22. He was a long time member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing Bridge. Darrell was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Wilson and many brothers and sisters. He is survived by daughter, Jacqueline Nishimoto and husband Dan of Stockton, CA; son, Bob Wilson and wife Nancy of Lodi, CA; sister, Flossie Overson of Lodi, CA; brother, Everett Wilson of Gridley; and five grandchildren. Friends are invited for a visitation on Saturday, February 19, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon at Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home, 123 N. School St., Lodi, CA and to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, February 19, 2005 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 2400 Oxford Way, Lodi, CA at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be private at Lodi Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church, 2400 Oxford Way, Lodi, CA 95242 or to the American Cancer Society, 207 E. Alpine Ave., Stockton, CA 95204.
