Violet Cordellia Range 
Sept. 21, 1922 - Feb. 13, 2005



Violet Cordellia Range, 83, passed away February 13, 2005 in Stockton. She was 
preceded in death by her devoted husband, Lester Allen Range and her two 
brothers. 
She is survived by her loving sons, Ken Range of Paicines, CA and Phil Range of 
Boise, ID and adoring grandchildren, Brent Range, Robyn Eldridge, Sandra Lady, 
and Paul Range. Great-grandmother to Cole and Kade Eldridge. Violet was born 
September 21, 1921 in Creston, Washington and grew up in Raymond, WA. She 
resided in Brookings, Oregon for approximately 20 years. She was a juvenile 
corrections counselor for San Joaquin County for 15 years. Mrs. Range was a 
member of the Sigma Pi Sorority and a charter member of Michigan Heights 
Baptist Church, both in Stockton. 
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on 
Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at Michigan Heights Baptist Church, 3156 Michigan 
Avenue, Stockton, CA 95204. No visitation. Private committal. 
Memorial contributions can be made in her honor to Michigan Heights Baptist 
Church.
