Emma Lee 
Emma Lee, 85, of Lodi, died Feb. 14 in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 6, 
1918, in Acampo, where she attended Bruella grammar school and graduated from 
Lodi Union High School.

Mrs. Lee married Oliver Lee in 1942 in Carson City, Nev. She attended Century 
Assembly of God Church, where she was an active member of the women's ministry. 
She enjoyed working with her friends and helping with missionary work. She also 
enjoyed sewing, working in the garden, making flower arrangements for her 
house, and spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her husband, Oliver Lee, of Lodi; sons, Kenneth and Michael 
Lee, both of Lodi; brother, Ed Kirschenman, of Fairfield; three grandchildren, 
one step-grandchild and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Fred, Dave, Rudolph and John 
Kirschenman; and sisters, Bertha Zimmerman and Kathryn Sackett.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Gierhart-Wells & 
Donahue Funeral Home. Interment will be private at Cherokee Memorial Cemetery. 
Visitation will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Monday, and from 8 a.m. to noon 
Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Century Assembly Women's Ministry, 550 W. 
Century Blvd., Lodi, CA 95240.

Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
