Herbert (Tex) Edward Morgan 
July 5, 1914 - February 15, 2005



Herbert (Tex) Edward Morgan, 90, of Stockton, passed away on Tuesday, February 
15, 2005 in a Stockton care facility. Born on July 5, 1914 in Texas. He was a 
psychiatric technician with the Stockton State Hospital for 20 years. He also 
was a Record rural carrier for 20 years in the Escalon and Oakdale areas. He 
was a member of San Joaquin Lodge #19 F & A M and a 50 plus year member of 
Stockton Scottish Rite Bodies. Tex was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Leora Morgan of Stockton. Father of 
David Morgan of Stockton. Grandfather of David Morgan, Jr. and Kristi Vivero 
both of Stockton. Great-grandfather of 3. 
Private family services will be held in the Stockton Rural Cemetery. Max 
Carroll of Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
